Research methodology

The current edition uses the United Kingdom as its primary evidence base. CRL's decision frameworks are designed for use internationally, but local institutions and conditions must be substituted carefully.

We prioritise official statistics, regulators, reputable academic work, transparent employer evidence and direct evidence of real deployment.

Evidence is attached to the claim it can support. Technical demonstrations are not treated as proof of organisational adoption or employment effects.

A dated assessment is not a prediction. It is a structured account of what appears important, what the available evidence supports and what remains unresolved.
